Visit with us this town where the pottery is known for its brilliant black color, a long pottery tradition that has its origins in the Montealbán period, at that time the production was of matte grayish tones, from the 20th century onwards local potters achieved a pottery of brilliant black tones through polishing and burnishing techniques, listen to the artisans' voices what it has meant in their lives to be part of this tradition.

It is a town where art can be seen in every corner, from the streets with their colorful murals to their family workshops where fashionable figures come to life in fantastic shapes, these figures also known as alebrijes show a great variety of styles, forms and representations.
